2011 FALL U8 TEAMS AND TRAINING (Born on or after August 1st, 2003)

The PTUSA U8 Academy is for advanced players aged from 5-8 Years Old. All Academy sessions and teams will be coached by PTUSA’s full-time, professional coaches which will help players at this young age develop there individual skills and technical ability in preparation for U10 Club Soccer. Under 8 Teams will NOT be entered into MAPLE, but would play games and tournaments within the Academy and against other competitive town/club teams.   

The U8 Academy runs 3 seasons a year for 9 week blocks (Fall / Winter / Spring) 

• Fall Training Sept to Mid-Nov. 
• Winter Training Jan to Mid - March.
• Spring Training April to end of May. 

Training options: 

Fall / Spring: Players have the option of skills training twice a week Tuesday / Thursday @ Elmer Raymond Field. Players will then train once a week with their team on Friday Nights at West Rec Field, Plymouth. All sessions run 4:30 - 5:45pm.  

U8 Academy teams will play 6v6 and have a 4 / 5 game schedule starting mid September / April with other Club Teams including Scorpions, Galway Rovers, SS Select and competitive town teams Marshfield, Plymouth and Middleboro. In-house Jamborees will also be set-up for additional games. Games will be played on Sunday morning to avoid town soccer conflicts. 

Winter: All training is indoors, players have the opportunity to attend multiple nights skills sessions in various locations including Jungleplex, Kingston Sportscenter and MMA. Indoors Futsal games will be arranged on Sundays at Silver Lake H.S. and their is also the possibility of teams being entered into session 2 or 3 at the Jungleplex. 

Cost:  $250.00 per season or $675 for the year 

The fee includes all training for that season or if paid in full for the year. All players will receive professional training and development evaluations along with PTUSA Game Jersey, Training T-Shirt and shorts.
