The Facilities: Wingate Kirkland
Wingate Kirkland is located in Yarmouth Port, Massachusetts on beautiful Cape Cod. The site is located on 45 acres of conservation land with hiking and biking trails. Wingate Kirkland has it’s own private beach on a secluded freshwater lake.
Recently renovated cabins sleep 16 and include indoor showers and toilets. The grounds have something for everyone and include tennis courts, volleyball courts, indoor/outdoor auditorium, freshwater lake, camp fire, outdoor dining and, of course, unbelievable training facilities.
Directions:
From the Boston Area: From Braintree, take Route 3 South. Follow until it ends at the Sagamore Bridge Rotary. Follow signs over Sagamore Bridge to Route 6 East. Take Exit 8 (about 20 minutes from the bridge). At end of ramp, go left onto Union St. Go one half mile and take a left on White Rock Road, at the cranberry bog. Go three tenths of a mile and turn left onto the camp road at the WK sign. Drive straight ahead to the next camp sign and go right, into the visitors parking area. Park and walk down the path into camp. Follow sign to the camp office.
From the South: Take Route 95 North to Route 195 East. Take 195 east until it ends. Then take Route 25 East. (Do not take Route 495 North.) Take Exit 2 Bourne/Sagamore Route 6 East. (Do not go over the Bourne Bridge which you will see straight ahead.) This Exit enters a rotary. Follow the rotary around and follow the signs to Route 6 East. At the next rotary (3-4 miles), take the first right onto the Sagamore Bridge. Go over the bridge and stay on Route 6. Take Exit 8 (about 20 minutes from the bridge). At end of ramp, go left onto Union St. Go one half mile and take a left on White Rock Road, at the cranberry bog. Go three tenths of a mile and turn left onto the camp road at the WK sign. Drive straight ahead to the next WK sign and go right, into the visitors parking area. Park and walk down the path into camp. Follow sign to the camp office. |
